So Ben wrote on the fridge, out of the blue, "We rock!"
When asked what he meant he explained..."You know, our family, we rock. We're really awesome." Yeah, Ben, I suppose we are...Thanks for noticing and reminding us.

Tell Ben he's right. Have the boys been able to rope you into any Rock Band?
About Rock Band...no, maybe that's why "we rock". I need to get on the drums this weekend but me at the mike would be disasterous. Any more news about a CO Spgs transfer? Can you come out to "interview"?
Well, the guy in charge of putting someone on the job is out here, and he basically said if I want it, the job is mine. So I won't be able to interview for it out there. I don't think I can justify uprooting everything here for it, though. (Plus the work sounds like it would be BORING)
But as Gabe learned in school yesterday, the word "awesome" also means "inspiring great trepidation or fear". Perhaps what he means is that you are stolid (like a rock) and that you scare people. I've seen Ben; he usually doesn't look like that. What is he really trying to tell you?
Ben is not the one growing horns at our house, actually. There is a three-year-old and a twelve-year-old at our house though; he may be commenting on the scary demeanor they bring to the table.
enjoy it while it lasts right
